Yesterday while standing in the Post Office I was hit squarely in the forehead with the realisation that we are indeed heading into the silly season as I found myself surrounded by Christmas cards! Has it really been almost a year since our last taste of Chrissie pudding and trifle?! I really should have been more aware as things are getting delightfully crazy here at Planet Cake as the party season hots up with lots of exciting events on the horizon.

In other exciting news, it is October at last which means we are only weeks away from our final appearance in Melbourne for the year! After the success of the Melbourne Show last month, we can’t wait to get back down there and check out the new talent with Basics 101, 102, 103 the one and only Madhatter course as well as Sugar Flowers and Bride and Groom Figurines….phew. For those of you who missed out this year, never fear we are in the final stages of confirming our 2010 dates which will be up on the website and open for enrolment very soon!! I had no idea what to expect when I saw the Twitter update about the tall cake- it's beautiful though!
My favourite creation is the last cake though, love that detailing on the bottom tier!
